Inspiration comes to us in many forms.  Great trial lawyers have learned the art of advocacy, that is they know how to truly inspire a judge or jury. They are creative warriors.  It takes decades to learn the craft. Perhaps this is one of the reasons for the allure.  You know when you have knocked it out of the park in trial, and there is no feeling like it.  One can never go back.
